Which Refurb Level is Right for Your Facility?

Reprocessed Equipment devices are checked to see if they meet original equipment manufacturer standards. After that, they're cleaned, disinfected, sterilized and shipped to your door.

Cosmetically New Equipment devices are tested to meet OEM specifications, but biomedical engineers paint and complete other surface modifications before it leaves the warehouse.

Parts New Equipment the device didn't meet OEM specifications, biomeds will replace the necessary parts then cosmetically refurbish the equipment.

Fully New Equipment the ultimate overhaul of a device, biomeds replace major parts and give the equipment a full facelift to meet OEM specifications.

Anesthesia Machines

Our Anesthesia Machines Refurbishing Process

The unit is sanded, primed and painted. Stainless steel is polished.
Wheels, castors and brakes are inspected and replaced if necessary.
Performance and maintenance tests are performed.
Parts prone to future failure are replaced, necessary repairs are made.
Chassis / housing is inspected, then cleaned or replaced.
The mount and fasteners are inspected and replaced if necessary.
AC plug, receptacles and cords are replaced, if necessary.
Tubes, electrodes and transducers are replaced where applicable.
Any motors, pumps, fans or compressors are inspected and replaced if needed.
The display panels are inspected, cleaned, or replaced.
The battery is replaced and the unit is re-calibrated.
All alarms and audible signals are tested and verified.
The unit receives a new label and is shipped to the customer.

Surgical Tables

Our Refurbishing Process

Upper H-frame casting is sanded, primed and painted as needed.
Stainless steel and chrome fittings are polished or replaced.
All seals, valves, lift cylinders and O-rings are inspected and restored.
Oils and mechanical fluids replaced in all internal moving mechanisms.
Articulation, performance and durability tests are performed.
Electrical components evaluated and restored if necessary.
Replace rubber on feet and brakes, install new wheels if needed.
Table base and pedestal are restored, new decals are applied.
Final tests are conducted to meet or exceed manufacturer's specifications.

Surgical Lights

Our Refurbishing Process

Cords, wires and fuses are inspected and replaced if necessary.
Controls and switches are inspected and replaced, if necessary.
Existing bulbs and fiber optic cables are replaced.
Down tubes, collars and dust covers are inspected or replaced.
Performance and illumination is tested, repaired if necessary.
The unit receives a new label and is shipped to the customer.

Electrosurgial Units

Our Refurbishing Process

Mount, fasteners and fittings are inspected and replaced if necessary.
AC plug, receptacles and cords are replaced if necessary.
Electrodes, transducers and fuses are inspected and replaced if needed.
The display panels are inspected and cleaned or replaced.
All audible signals are tested, the unit is re-calibrated.
A grounding plate and grounding plate cord is included, if needed.
Footswitch and/or hand switch is inspected and cleaned or replaced.
A new disposable pad and cautery pin is included.
The unit receives a new label and is shipped to the customer.

Respiratory Ventilators

Our Refurbishing Process

Grounding resistance is checked, current leakage is tested.
Housing is inspected and cleaned or replaced.
AC plug, receptacles and cords are replaced, if necessary.
The mount and fasteners are inspected and replaced if necessary.
Electrodes and transducers are inspected and replaced, if necessary.
The display panels are inspected and cleaned, or replaced.
Controls and switches are inspected and replaced, if necessary.
All alarms and audible signals are tested and verified.
Performance and maintenance tests are performed.
Parts prone to future failure are replaced, necessary repairs are made.
Stand is inspected, wheels and brakes repaired if necessary.
O2 cell is inspected or replaced, the unit is re-calibrated.
The unit receives a new label and is shipped to the customer.

Defibrillators

Our Refurbishing Process

Chassis / housing is inspected and cleaned or replaced.
AC plug, receptacles and cords are replaced if necessary.
Circuit breaker, fuses and fittings are replaced if needed.
The display panels are inspected and cleaned or replaced.
All alarms and audible signals are tested and verified.
The battery is replaced, the unit is re-calibrated.
If applicable, the printer is inspected and repaired.
A roll of printer paper is included, if applicable.
New ECG cables, leads and clips are included.
The unit receives a new label and is shipped to the customer.
