The Maquet name has been synonymous with innovation, quality and trust since its founding in 1838. Maquet designs, develops and sells innovative products for hospital departments, including operating rooms, operating rooms, catheter laboratories and intensive care units.
Maquet is has headquarters in Rastatt, Germany, and is the largest subsidiary of the GETINGE Group. As of 2015 Maquet employed more than 6,550 members of staff at 40 international sales and service organizations and maintains a network of about 300 sales partners.
Maquet acquired Siemens Life Support Systems in 2003 and added the Servo brand ventilator line to their portfolio at that time. The Servo brand is well known in the respiratory market.
Maquet's equipment focus revolves around the Operating Room and Critical Care environments.
