Infusion Pump Tips from Avante's Dorian Davis
This week, we asked Dorian Davis, the Lead Technician in the Infusion Pumps Department at Avante's Center of Excellence in San Clemente, Calif., for his tips on finding the software on popular infusion pumps. Read Dorian's tips below:
Tip 1: How to find software on an Alaris 8015
To find the SW on an Alaris 8015:
- Power on unit
- Press options
- Select Page Down
- Select Software Versions
- Select View on the device you want to view the SW of.
Attached modules can be viewed here and will be listed on this screen.
Tip 2: How to locate the software on a Sigma Spectrum
When you power the device on the SW rev is displayed on the 2nd splash screen with the internal SN.
Tip 3: How to find the software on a Medfusion pump
When you power the device on the SW rev is displayed on the splash screen with the internal SN.
