Thousands of medical equipment professionals from around the world will be gathering November 20 through 23 in Düsseldorf, Germany, for the 2013 Medica Trade Fair.
Chris Padgett and Jasen Hargrove from DRE will be joining key players in Düsseldorf, using the show as a chance to meet up with distributors and make new contacts.
This trade show, one of the largest in the world, is where many global trends in the medical technology field begin.
Medica’s website says the trade fair hosted 134,482 people from over 120 countries in 2012, and 46 percent of the visitors were from countries outside of Europe.
This year, Medica is projecting to have at least 130,000 visitors and 4,500 exhibitors. An estimated 450 exhibitors will be from the United States and Canada, making Medica one of the largest internationally-hosted medical trade shows for the North American market.
DRE has been attending Medica for more than 15 years as part of the company’s long-established focus on international commerce. The company is a global supplier of both new and New medical equipment to more than 150 countries.
