Med Vest Technology Patient Monitoring participated in another successful blood drive with the help of the American Red Cross. With a total of 28 donors, we successfully collected 24 total units of blood. Knowing the importance of blood donation, Craig G., our first donor and a local resident to San Clemente, CA, took time out of his day to come to our facility to donate. Craig says he donates every 8 weeks and finds local blood drives around San Clemente to participate in. In total Med Vest Technology had 8 walk-in community donors.
"Hosting a blood drive coincides with Med Vest Technology Patient Monitoring’s core values of giving back to the community,” said Jennifer McKenzie, Receptionist. “With a simple blood donation, we have the ability to help save the life of someone who could be a coworker, loved one or neighbor."

“Donating for my first time was scary but the American Red Cross staff made me feel comfortable. This will be my first of many donations and I thank Med Vest Technology for giving me this opportunity to save a life.”
- Carina Ramirez, Technician - Telemetry Department
Every day, patients throughout the San Clemente area and across the country rely on volunteer blood donors when receiving healthcare. Cancer patients, trauma victims, organ transplant recipients, premature babies, and others may need blood.
"The short amount of time it takes to donate can mean a lifetime to a patient with a serious medical condition. We urge eligible donors to join us in the selfless act of giving blood. Each pint collected can help to save up to 3 lives. Med Vest Technology Patient Monitoring has helped to save up to 72 patient lives! WOW!! Please also extend a huge thank you to everyone."
- Jessie Salmon, American Red Cross - Account Manager II
