Penlon Focus and History

Penlon manufactures and distributes products and systems for anesthesia, intubation, oxygen therapy and suction. 

Penlon was established in Oxford, UK in 1943 by personnel from the Department of Anaesthetics at Oxford University. In 1975, Penlong was acquired by InterMed, the healthcare subsidiary of Thomas Tilling plc. In October 1996, Penlon regained its status as an independent company. Penlon acquired east Healthcare in 1997, an Oxford-based company who manufactures a complete range of suction and oxygen therapy equipment, a versatile medical rail system and an extensive range of medical gas pipeline equipment. Today, Penlon exports to more than 90 countries worldwide.
