It’s #TechTipTuesday! Welcome to our weekly series where we ask members of the biomedical community about their tips and recommendations for maintaining medical equipment. This week we’re asking, “What tips do you have when it comes to defibrillators?”
This week, we asked Mai Sumlut, Senior Technician Supervisor at the Med Vest Technology San Clemente Center of Excellence, for his tips on resetting a service light and error code on the LifePak 20 Defibrillator/Monitor after it has been serviced. Mai said this can sometimes happen when the customer sends in their LifePak for repair but doesn’t include the battery. Read Mai’s tips below:
Huge thanks to Mai for giving us today’s tips on defibrillators! Want to join the conversation and add your own tips? Be sure to follow me on LinkedIn and comment on today’s #TechTipTuesday post. See you next week!
